For Video Games Movie Month, we take a look at my Warcraft: Orcs and Humans review. This is the classic RTS game that started it all, and set the foundation for the plot of the Warcraft movie. At the time Blizzard made huge improvements with the real time strategy genre, building upon features from games at the time. They solidified the fog of war and mapped terrain in an RTS game, added multiple maps, and created some of the best multiplayer functions of it’s time.

Warcraft is a franchise of video games, novels, and other media created by Blizzard Entertainment. The series is made up of five core games: Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. The first three of these core games are in the real-time strategy genre, where opposing players command virtual armies in battle against each other or a computer-controlled enemy. The fourth and best-selling title of the franchise is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), where players control their character and interact with each other in a virtual world. Testing out the Yeti X World of Warcraft Edition microphone and all of the voice modulator options. This video’s not sponsored, but I did receive the microphone to check out for free. It’s a nice microphone, but I’d still put it on a stand. The audio quality of this video is indicative of a fresh out-of-the-box and on the desk recording- you can get improved quality by using a shock mount and getting it a bit closer to your face.

Warcraft 2 movie is still under the discussion of whether it will be a success in USA or not. The movie did make 3 times its budget, but that’s only because most of it was earned from China.

Warcraft 2 Will Happen?

Warcraft director Duncan Jones says despite the film’s great performance overseas, no one is quite sure if a sequel will happen.
Director Duncan Jones doesn’t know if Warcraft 2 will ever happen. Legendary looked to bring the popular MMORPG to the big screen in 2016. Thanks to the game’s huge fanbase, there was hope that the millions of players would generate a big box office haul. The movie wound up getting largely negative reviews as Warcraft struggled to give the characters real depth while introducing the massive world the potential franchise would have to offer.
