A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to speak with Timb Campbell and Kevin Dong from Frost Giant Studio, about their upcoming RTS game StormGate! In this great conversation, we briefly discussed mechanics aimed at controling army unit size, and notably, the one Warcraft 3 uses, Upkeep!

With Shadowlands looking to be a big hit, I wanted to start a new series of videos for new or returning players. In this first video, we’re going to talk about how to select a realm to play on in World of Warcraft. Most established players already know some of this information, but this could have a useful tidbit here and there for you as well! If you’re new to the game; welcome, and I hope this series will help you!
In the subsequent moviefilms for this series, we’re going to talk about character creation, what the hell a Horde and Alliance is, why some of the races are greyed out for you, as well as what to do once you actually enter the world for the first time, and what to expect when you reach the max level of 60 in Shadowlands!

Dragonflight is the 9th Major Expansion from World Of Warcraft which released on November 28th 2022, This Expansion brought a new continent to the game with 4 massive zones, a new feature called Dragon riding which is basically WoWs version of the Griffon from Guild Wars 2, A huge revamp to the profession system, Solo queue ranked PVP, Brand new talent trees, an in game Edit UI mode and a new Race/Class, the Drakthir Evoker.
In terms of theme Dragonflight has a more traditional fantasy style compared to the previous expansion Shadowlands as it’s set on the dragon isles and features familiar characters from the lore.
For many people myself included the biggest appeal to returning to WoW for Dragonflight was the shift in design philosophy to make the game MUCH more alt friendly, no borrowed power systems, no mandatory legendaries, no AP grinds.
In this video I’ll be giving you my first impressions of Dragonflight as someone who quit WoW back in Legion, will this be the expansion that brings me back?
